Local Thai restaurants offer fresh vegetables and exotic fruits, tender meat and locally caught shellfish and fish. Although a lot of the Thai cuisine is spicy and hot, most Thai restaurants has adapted their food for tourist tastes.

In the evening, many beach restaurants are carrying out their tables and chairs on the beach, and serves fresh fish and seafood. Most of these restaurants also provides both Thai and international menus. A dinner on the beach might be a romantic choice for most honeymooners and couples in general.

Chaweng of today has a reputation for it's many international, high class restaurants and world class chefs. The majority of the better restaurants in Chaweng are located in the Chaweng Beach Road area. Tropical Murphy


Is an Irish-British restaurant and pub, located on Chaweng Beach Road, opposite McDonald's. They offer a wide selection of dishes and a variety of beers.

Prego


A beautiful Italian restaurant found on northern Chaweng Beach Road. Italian cuisine in a refreshing "al fresco" atmosphere. Wood-fired, oven baked pizza, various pasta dishes, risotto, fresh seafood and Italian wines are just a few examples from the extensive menu.

Bellini


Bellini serves Italian dishes in an open and airy location. Bellini has won prices as one of the best restaurants in Thailand twice, the price is distributed by The Thailand Tatler.

Liquid Lounge


Liquid Lounge serves international food, Swedish food and Thai food. Liquid Lounge is located on Chaweng beach close to the hugely popular Ark Bar.
